The Philadelphia Eagles are back at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday to play the Carolina Panthers at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. The Eagles wrapped up a two-game road trip, defeating the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens.

Philadelphia has won eight straight games and will look to make it nine against an improving Panthers team. Carolina is 3-9 on the season. But the Panthers played the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers tough over the last two weeks. The Eagles should not overlook the Panthers, who could easily be 5-7 and on a four-game winning streak.

With that in mind, we’ll look at all the latest happenings involving the Eagles from this past week, including the final Week 14 injury report and betting odds for Sunday’s game.

  • After taking down the Ravens in impressive fashion last week, the Eagles enter Sunday’s game against the Panthers as 13.5-point home favorites, per FanDuel Sportsbook. The Eagles have a 4-1 record at home but are 1-3 ATS this season. As for the Panthers, they are 1-4 on the road this season. Carolina’s lone road win happened in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

  • The Eagles will not have standout tight end Dallas Goedert for Sunday’s game and likely for the rest of the season. On Saturday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported that Goedert was placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury. However, the plan is for the veteran tight end to return for the playoffs. Goedert suffered the knee injury in last week’s win over the Ravens. The 29-year-old pass-catcher missed three games earlier this season because of a hamstring injury. Without Goedert in the starting lineup, the Eagles will depend on Grant Calcaterra, C.J. Uzomah, and E.J. Jenkins to fill the void in the passing game.

  • Along with Goedert, the Eagles will also be without safeties Reed Blankenship (concussion) and Sydney Brown (knee) and wide receiver Britain Covey (neck), who were all ruled out on the final Week 14 injury report. The Panthers will be without veteran pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney (knee) and safety Nick Scott (hamstring/personal). Clowney and Scott were downgraded to out on Saturday.

  • With those four players ruled out, the Eagles elevated fullback Khari Blasingame and rookie safety Andre Sam from the practice squad. Philadelphia also signed E.J. Jenkins to the active roster from the taxi squad.

  • Lastly, an Eagles player prop to watch out for in Sunday’s game is DeVonta Smith over 46.5 receiving yards (-113) on FanDuel. Smith is back in the lineup after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury. Without Goedert on the field, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts should be looking to get Smith involved early and often. The 26-year-old receiver has hit the over in six of nine games this season.
