The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will take the next step in their quest to repeat as champions on Thursday night with the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Eagles enter this year’s draft with eight picks, including three within the top 100. Last year, Philadelphia had one of its best drafts in recent memory, landing Quinyon Mitchell (No. 22), Cooper DeJean (No. 40), and Jalyx Hunt (No. 94) with their first three picks.
Mitchell, DeJean, and Hunt played instrumental roles in the Eagles’ journey to the Super Bowl last year. The young defensive trio looks poised to take another step in their careers in 2025.
Philadelphia hopes to land another impact player at No. 32 overall after losing notable veterans on the defensive line and secondary earlier this offseason. Nonetheless, whatever the Eagles do over the next three days, we have you covered on Total Sports Live with our NFL draft tracker.
This tracker will give you the information and insight on who the Eagles take at No. 32 overall in the first round until their final selection at No. 168 in the fifth round. We will also have an undrafted free agent tracker for any rookie signings the Eagles make after the draft concludes on Saturday evening.
Round 1, Pick 31 (via KC): Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
The Eagles were supposed to end the night as the last team to pick in the first round. However, Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman had other ideas. The Eagles traded the No. 32 and No. 164 (fifth-round) overall picks to the Kansas City Chiefs for the No. 31 overall selection.
With that pick, the Eagles took former Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Jihaad Campbell, making it the first time since 1979 that Philadelphia drafted a linebacker in the first round. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Eagles tried to trade up to the No. 22 pick, which was owned by the Los Angeles Chargers, to get the former Bama defender.
Campbell is coming off a good three-year career at Alabama, which included a stellar 2024 season.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound defender had 117 combined tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two pass deflections, two forced fumbles, a forced fumble, and an interception as a full-time starter.
Many draft analysts believed he would be selected within the first 20 picks in the first round. However, Campbell is rehabbing from left shoulder surgery on a torn labrum he had following the NFL Scouting Combine. Earlier this week, Rapoport reported that Campbell received word from Dr. Lyle Cain that he should be ready for training camp.

If you are an Eagles fan, this is great news, especially with veteran linebacker Nakobe Dean rehabbing from a torn patellar tendon injury he sustained in the playoffs earlier this year. Campbell is a great tackler with tremendous explosiveness and acceleration, and has the athleticism to be a factor in pass coverage.
Round 2, Pick 64: Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas
At the end of the second round on Friday night, the Eagles addressed their secondary. Philadelphia took former University of Texas safety Andrew Mukuba. The 5-foot-11 defensive back can thrive in both man and zone coverage. Mukuba also has the skills to play nickelback, which is another way the Eagles can utilize him in the secondary.
Philly fans will like how Mukuba plays, as he’s not afraid to make a tackle or lay a big hit. The Eagles needed a safety after trading veteran C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Houston Texans last month.
Last season, Mukuba had 69 combined tackles, seven pass deflections, five interceptions (most in the SEC), four tackles for loss, and a forced fumble. He began his collegiate career at Clemson, spending three years with the Tigers. Emory Hunt of Football Gameplan ranked Mukuba as his No. 1 free safety in his 2025 draft guide with an 81 grade (potential Pro Bowler).
Round 4, Pick 111 (via DEN): Ty Robinson, DT, Nebraska
The Eagles added to their defensive line to kick off Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft. Philadelphia took former Nebraska defensive tackle Ty Robinson with the No. 111 overall pick. The 6-foot-5 defensive lineman has good quickness off the ball and versatility to play multiple roles on the defensive line.
At the NFL Scouting Combine in February, Robinson had the fastest 40-yard dash time (4.83) among defensive linemen. Over his six-year career at Nebraska, Robinson recorded 134 combined tackles, 27 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, 12 pass deflections, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in 60 games (47 starts).
Round 4, Pick 145 (via NYJ): Mac McWilliams, CB, UCF
After using their first pick of Day 3 on the defensive line, the Eagles took former UCF cornerback Mac McWilliams with the 145th overall pick. The 5-foot-10 cornerback can play inside (slot) or outside and be a playmaker on special teams (10.8 yards punt per return career average).
McWilliams spent the first four years of his collegiate career at UAB before transferring to UCF for his final year of college ball. Last season at UCF, McWilliams had 32 combined tackles, seven tackles for loss, two pass deflections, a forced fumble, and an interception. It will be interesting to see where the Eagles play McWilliams this coming season, especially with Cooper DeJean manning the slot. However, there’s some uncertainty around the CB2 spot, which could be an open competition between Kelee Ringo, Adoree’ Jackson, and maybe McWilliams.
Round 5, Pick 161 (via HOU): Smael Mondon Jr., LB, Georgia
In the fifth round, the Eagles went back to the University of Georgia pipeline for the third-straight NFL draft. Philadelphia took linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. with the 161st overall selection.
Mondon Jr. is an athletic linebacker who is a tremendous blitzer off the edge and can hold his own in pass coverage against RBs and TEs. The 6-foot-2, 224-pound defender needs to improve his block-shedding, but could be an instant contributor on special teams. Last season with the Bulldogs, Mondon Jr. posted 57 combined tackles, four tackles for loss, three sacks, and three pass deflections.
Round 5, Pick 168: Drew Kendall, C, Boston College
With their last pick in the fifth round, the Eagles bolstered their offensive line depth, drafting Drew Kendall with the 168th overall selection. The 6-foot-3, 304-pound lineman started 37 games at center at Boston College. The former Boston College lineman has good core/functional strength and is good in pass protection. Emory Hunt of Football Gameplan ranked Kendall as his sixth-best center in his 2025 draft guide.
Round 6, Pick 181 (via LAC): Kyle McCord, QB, Syracuse
Surprisingly, the Eagles added to their quarterback room with the selection of Kyle McCord in the sixth round. After spending the first three years of his career at Ohio State, McCord played his last year of college football at Syracuse. McCord rejuvenated his career with the Orange in 2024, completing 66 percent of his passes for 4,779 yards (led the country), 34 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
The 6-foot-2 quarterback doesn’t have the strongest arm, but showed solid velocity on in-breaking routes in the short and intermediate passing game. However, McCord’s ball placement and anticipation must improve at the next level. He’ll likely compete with Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who the Eagles acquired in the Kenny Pickett trade last month, for the QB3 job in camp this summer.
Round 6, Pick 191 (via DEN): Myles Hinton, OT, Michigan
With their second pick in the sixth round, the Eagles selected former Michigan Wolverines offensive tackle Myles Hinton. The 6-foot-7 lineman has experience playing right (20 starts) and left tackle (11 starts), making him the perfect developmental swing tackle for Philadelphia.
He’s a quick-twitch athlete who is good in pass pro and run blocking. Hinton can move defensive linemen off the ball, showcasing his power.
Round 6, Pick 207 (via NYJ): Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
The Eagles went back to the trenches with their third pick in the sixth round, taking former Texas Longhorns offensive tackle Cameron Williams.
Some analysts view Williams as a developmental right tackle. However, Emory Hunt of Football Gameplan has the former Longhorn ranked as his second-best offensive tackle in his 2025 draft guide with an 81 grade (potential Pro Bowler). The Eagles would love for Williams to become a Pro Bowl as they start to figure out who could be the heir apparent to future Hall of Fame right tackle Lane Johnson.
Williams is technically sound with his hands, has long arms, and a huge wingspan. He also has high 80-plus grades on run blocking (83), pass blocking (86), hand usage (85), and recognition (83) in Hunt’s scouting report. The Eagles might’ve found a steal in Williams.
Round 6, Pick 209: Antwaun Powell-Ryland, EDGE, Virginia Tech
Lastly, with their final pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Eagles took a flier on former Virginia Tech EDGE Antwaun Powell-Ryland. The 6-foot-2, 258-pound pass rusher shows good quickness off the ball and does a good job pursuing the opposing team’s quarterback.
Despite only being listed at 6-foot-2, Powell-Ryland has long arms, which work against various offensive linemen. The former Tech defender is disruptive against the run. However, he must improve his read and react skills, especially against zone read plays. Powell-Ryland spent the first three years of his career at Florida before finishing the last two seasons at Virginia Tech.
Last season with the Hokies, Powell-Ryland had 43 combined tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.
