The Philadelphia Eagles are continuing to add depth to their wide receiver room on Tuesday, as the third week of NFL free agency is underway. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Eagles are signing veteran receiver Elijah Moore to a one-year deal.

The 25-year-old Moore spent last season with the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos. Moore appeared in nine games with the Bills, where he had nine receptions (17 targets) for 112 yards. The veteran wideout was released on Nov. 26 by the Bills and was signed almost a week later by the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos placed Moore on their practice squad, where he spent the rest of the regular season. He made one appearance for Denver in the AFC Championship, recording one reception for four yards. The veteran wideout spent the first four years of his career with the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns.

In those two years with the Browns, Moore averaged 103 targets, but only scored three total touchdowns. He will now join a crowded Eagles’ WR room that just added Hollywood Brown last week. Moore is also reuniting with his old college teammate, A.J. Brown, who both played at Ole Miss for one season (2018).

The veteran wide receiver will have a challenge ahead of him to make the 53-man roster, especially since the Eagles already have Darius Cooper and Johnny Wilson Jr as their projected WR4 and WR5.
